Could I use the UK Employee Education Program to cover the cost of the program?
No. However, UK Employees may request to use professional development funds from their departments to cover the cost of the program. If your department agrees to cover the cost of the program, they may pay by JV.
My Business officer at UK said I need the Taxable Fringe benefit form, what is that?
If you are a UK Employee and would like to take the Exam Prep portion of the series, you must complete the UK Taxable Fringe Benefit Form (LINKED BELOW). ONLY the $550 (value of the PMP Exam Prep portion) out of the total for the complete bundle is considered a taxable benefit. That is because it is the exam prep portion that enables the recipient to take a certification, qualifying them for a new business or trade. The $550 would show up on your paycheck as a non-cash benefit and would be taxed at your current rate. You can still choose to register for only the first two sections. If so, the form is not necessary and there will be no tax.

Should I take both Project Management Fundamentals and Agile?
Since our world is quickly incorporating technology in everything we do, yes. In order to be a well-rounded project manager, you need skills in both predictive and agile. And, in reality, most of the project work we do today is hybrid (a combination of predictive and agile).
Can I take the Project Management Fundamentals class in person and switch to online, hybrid for the Agile class (or vice versa)?
Yes. We will work with you in whatever is most convenient for you.
Does the complete course prepare me for the PMP Exam?
Yes. You need both Project Management Fundamentals and Agile to be able to pass the exam and the complete package gives you enough credits to qualify to sit for the exam. Also, we go over practice exam questions and answers in both offerings.
What if I have to miss a class?
While you are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions, we understand things come up. We record all live sessions. If you miss a class, you will be expected to watch the recording in order to keep up with the content.
Do I need to attend the in-person class on Tuesday nights and the review session on Thursday nights?
No. These are two different offerings. The Tuesday night class goes over the content with the instructors and contains hands-on activities to enhance retention. The Thursday night class is expected to complete the on-demand content prior to that week’s review session and then meet with an instructor for about an 1hr-1.5hrs to review the content and have Q&A.
What is the PMP Supplemental course in the complete package?
Since the Project Management Fundamentals and Agile classes only amount to 30 credits and you need 35 to sit for the PMP exam, this course provides over 15 hours of content for you to use towards those 5 hours, and it is essential in studying for the exam.
Does the course include the PMP Exam test fee?
No, the complete course will prepare you for the PMP exam and we even help with the application process. But the exam fee is specific to the Project Management Institute.
What happens after I take both courses?
