Explanation for a simple example that is a first port of call for a number of potential users. I'm worried this is too much information, especially if it makes the code snippet feel like a recipe under a lengthy essay about home and family, but I think it all fits together well enough in context.

This has been lightly edited from the original HackMD of example explanations.
