This release cycle marks the premiere for curl release candidates. The first such release candidate, rc1, is up on https://curl.se/rc/

The plan is to offer release candidates and ideally have people test them before the pending release, in an attempt to discover and rectify more bugs before the pending release rather than immediately after it.

You can help us out by downloading, building and testing the rc builds in your use cases and just make sure nothing breaks and that all still works as expected.
