easy peasy service to play a video file in place of the default Raspberry Pi OS splash screen
rename your mp4 video to "splash.mp4" and place it in the /boot partition or the same folder as the install script.
sudo chmod +x ./install.sh
sudo ./install.sh
sudo reboot
