RedFly-Shield

The RedFly-Shield is a plug-on module with WiFi/WLAN for Arduino.

Alternative: BlueFly-Shield with Atmel/Microchip ATWINC1500-MR210PB WiFi module.

RedFly-Shield

  • Redpine Signals RS9110-N-11-22 WiFi module
  • Compliant to 802.11b/g and single stream 802.11n
  • Network standard: IEEE 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz
  • Wireless security: AES, WEP, WPA, WPA2
  • Modes: Ad-hoc (only WEP encryption) and Infrastructure (no Access-Point mode)
  • Scanning for networks with signal strength indicator
  • Integrated WiFi and IPv4 stack (TCP, UDP, ARP, ICMP, DHCP, Auto-IP, DNS)
  • Supports up to 7 sockets at the same time
  • On-board Antenna
  • 3.3V - 5V tolerant IOs
  • Open-Source and released under the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike License.
