We are devouring the planet’s resources at a rate 1.8 (2023) times faster than it can regenerate. When people buy less stuff, you get immediate drops in emissions, resource consumption and #pollution. That doesn’t just mean fewer physical things; it’s also less electricity, travel and eating out. 💥

Today is National "I am In Control Day" and it's a great opportunity to take a moment and remind yourself of the things we are in control over, the things we do NOT have control over AND the importance of letting what we have NO control over GO! Remember take charge of the things you can control one by one and let the rest of that stuff go! 🥰

The rate we produce and consume in modern society is faster than ever. We use up what we can sustainably spend for the year after only about 7 months. There are 52 fashion seasons with new collections every week. Clothes and tech is outdated so fast that even if you want to consume slowly, products break after a short period either way. If we don’t stop this wasteful practice of crappy quality and disposable everything, we’re going to end up depleting and poisoning all of our recourses.
