I love T. rex so much, absolutely my favorite thing to paint. Created for the Beasts of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaur figure line coming soon to Kickstarter. Really tried to push my brush strokes more here.

Hmmm this could be interesting.

This is my first time ever painting or even drawing an icthyosaur, I think. It’s a Temnodontosaurus. I feel like everyone depicts icthyosaurs as graceful and dolphin-like. Nah man they still giant killer sea reptiles. Better luck next time mr plesiosaur.

Year of the Meat-Eating Bull, baby! I painted the Carnotaurus entirely by hand, no scale brushes, no photo textures, would not recommend! Been wanting to illustrate my pet theory of Carnotaurus horns being much larger than typically depicted. The thing's neck and shoulders are massive but its got this dinky little head and almost no arms. Somethings going on there.

I think one of the most underutilized themes of Godzilla illustration(Godzillastration) is just the sheer awe it would inspire to see something so massive emerging from the sea. I've had this image idea in my head for months and I finally had the time to do it. It's not supposed to be any one existing Godzilla, it's my own Godzilla design. Even if it is heavily influenced by Shin(the best Godzilla).

Trying to imagine what dinosaurs actually looked like 66 million years ago is no easy task – it involves some painstakingly detailed fossil analysis, some intelligent guesswork, and a bit of creative imagination.
