131 reactions · 13 shares | DIY SLATTED BENCH (modern-Scandinavian vibes) - You’ll need (10) 1x4x8ft boards of your choice. I went with pine boards to Keep costs down, but you can use maple, cedar, walnut; etc. - cut pieces into (14) 15” boards, (16) 18.5” boards and (8) 48” boards. *Note, these cuts are based on my own chosen dimensions.  I wanted a 4 ft long bench, at a height of 18.5” (15” vertical piece + 3.5” width from king horizontal board = 18.5” tall). You would just change the height of your vertical boards to whatever height you wanted, making sure they were 3.5” different from the 2 lengths. - to build: start with (2) 15” pieces on each side with a 48” piece laying horizontally.  Make sure they are square to each other.  Then, place adhesive on top of all boards.
