As beautiful and popular as journals are, they are not the only thing that can be made from my monthly Handmade Club kits. A question I often get asked is “what can you use the graphics for”… and really the answer is anything that you are inspired to create. Charming pieces of fabric and lace make up the cover of this handmade journal. The colours are predominately rose and beige with subtle green accents. I constructed the cover out of heavy chipboard, then stitched each fabric scrap down securely. Some of the fabric was hand-dyed by me with avocado peels, resulting in a beautiful rose.
