Symbol is an instrument of learning, the image of a representable object. It is conventional and cultural conditioning. The history of symbolism shows that everything can assume symbolic significance. Scholars in many fields writes about symbolism from their discipline. In ancient time Greek and Latin words related to symbol had a variety of meaning, arranged round the notion of matching entities. A symbol is an instrument of expression and in early Christianity it was associated with set of beliefs. The method adopted in this paper is critical analysis.

Spirit manifestation has been witnessed in Jewish-Christian religion since ancient time or Old Testament. The word 'Pentecost' was first used in Exodus 23:16, it referred to Hebrew feast, an agricultural festival of thanksgiving at the end of Harvest. The Hebrews observed the feast as a commemoration of the covenant at Sinai. In Acts 2:1-4 the Jews and foreign Jews were celebrating this feast when the Holy Spirit manifested in their midst with extraordinary signs. This was interpreted as the fulfillment of the promise of Jesus in Acts 1:8. The holiness preachers Charles Parham and William Seymour are credited as co-founder of the Pentecostal movement. In January 1, 1901 Parham opened Bethel Bible College in Topeka, Kansas, where he taught students that witnessed the initial evidence. Miss Agnes Ozman was the first to experience the Holy Spirit manifestation after the laying on of hands by the pastor C. Parham (Wikipedia). Reports of speaking in tongues, miraculous healings and people converted as the Holy Spirit 'fell on them' as they entered the Church, spread across the USA and into Europe (Howard, 1997:8). It was after its taking root in America and Europe that it was introduced to Africa and Nigeria in particular. The method adopted in this paper is library research and experience from many years of teaching this aspect of Church history.

Margery work was about the beginning of messages passed electronically through wave. She emphasized the use of microphone, gadgets, telephone, signal and device. These are some of the materials discussed in this article. This author has written previously on the use of visual aid, Tele-Evangelism and Magical practices in Nigerian university journals, ideas presented in such articles were brought in here. Thought transference in this paper was mainly discussed from educational and evangelism perspective. Introduction: In thought transference distance did not appear to have much effect on the phenomenon, as long as "Mr A" was in good health and was permitted to think about "Mr B" to see his photograph or hear his recorded voice, the thought was transferred (Allingham 1990). Thought transfer pass through wave, thought could be transferred from one mind to another sometimes, the process could be mechanically assisted, as far as reception was concerned. When one say mechanically assisted, it means the thought or voice is projected through film strips, slide, silent motion pictures transparences and vedio tapes. Films, filmstrips, transparences enlarged photographs can be integrated into teaching technique and involve the supplementation of verbal explanation. It helps to focus attention, and interest is stimulated (Agun, 1988).

The good spirits comes in loving relationship while the bad is to be cast out. There has been confusion concerning the manner of casting out or healing in the churches. Those who practice it, want to link their practices to the ministry of Jesus. There are frequent testimonies to divine healing at evangelism campaigns, however, there are small number of definite miracles of healing compared to the great numbers who were prayed for. The healing may be termed ‘miraculous’ in the sense of being a wonderful sign of God’s activity. The findings from the research, was that the healing was real. Some miracles were instantaneous, others take some time to manifest. The miracles lead to conversion of the individual. The method adopted in the research is critical analysis and socio-religious. Â

Methodology deals with the cognitive processes imposed by the problems that arise from the nature of its subject matter. Methods are the systematic combination of cognitive processes, making use of specific techniques. Different methods are distinguishable in accordance with the variety of ways in which human thought can be organized and the different tasks to which it can be applied. In every scientific method there should be close and systematic relation between theorizing and experience. Moral education is aimed at the inculcation of good manners and character building. Having taught religious knowledge for many years, this is an attempt to contribute to the methods of studying morality.

The ritual has been observed as a public ceremony where it first manifested and celebrated as private rituals among individual devotees. The majority of the devotees are women, due to the fact that the deity has been credited with helping barren women to get the fruit of the womb. There are two Edo myths on the origin of this deity. There has been an annual feast in honour of this deity which serves as a means of entertainment for the indigenes who come home during this period. The method adopted for the research is social analysis of available records and insider's view as was observed some years as an Edo Scholar in religion.

The focus of this book was the death of Zoe Green in New Orleans, USA. The hero in the book was Claire Green, a lawyer who fought to re-awaken the old wounds or re-enact the case after fives years. The issues in the book was mainly moral law and justice, what is right and wrong, legal and illegal. Zoe Green died when the sister was an undergraduate receiving law education. The case went to the Police but as was written in page 98, lots of crimes were reported but many were never solved. The case went to the police but there was no evidence to link a particular killer. As was written in page 69 the courts are not after the truth, they are after justice. In the court system, justice gives everybody rights but the victim. The Police and the court system have their hands tied.

This contribution focuses on magic adopted in the primitive societies or preindustrial societies. Magical practice is a universal phenomenon, it is an attempt by man to control the forces of nature. Magic is the art of controlling events by the pretended use of supernatural forces; witchcraft, primitive superstitious practices (Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary of Current English). There are many practices linked with magic such as sorcery, wizardry, enchantment, illusion, trickery and charm which involve magnetism (Collins English Dictionary and Thesaurus, 2005). Magic makes the practitioners confident in the action they take. The motto of magic is, 'my will be done'. Magic commands, it is an I-it encounter. The origin of the "magic" was from the Latin word 'magia' and the Greek word 'mageia', derived from the Persian term 'magos', his work of mageia with all sorts of questionable figures including beggars and wizards. Mageia was sometimes applied to suspicious and barbaric practices, but still with positive connotations, when practiced by powerful esoteric practitioners (Janowitz, N. 2001, Magic in Roman World: Pagans, Jews and Christians. London: Routledge).
