Every year, at the start of summer, we take this family photo on the front lawn of our house when the rhododendrons are in bloom. This will be the last year we will likely hold Harry as he has grown so much this year. It makes me sad when I really stop to think about it, but I’m loving our conversations, his adventurous spirit, and seeing his personality unfold.

Kiel and I moved into our new home almost a year ago and we are finally starting to renovate some of the rooms. The first room on our list is our guest room. We have family and friends stay over often and really wanted to create a welcoming, comfortable space. Right now we pretty much have just a bed and a couple of pictures on the wall — the decor is very minimal. As you can see from the bottom two pictures, it needs a little love.
