Thank you sooo much for your feedback ! Indeed the game still lack some feedbacks to guide you through the first steps ! The plants are growing with passing days, so you need to go to the next days in order to allow them to grow and to produce some resources :)  The one you need is from the monstera, and you shouldn't be blocked as the monstera is a plant you're starting the game with. You need to click on the moon/sun icon at the top right to go to the next day :) Thanks again for your feedback !
