Yup. It used to be nearly solvable like Minesweeper once you got good at deduction. Now you HAVE to guess very often which usually results in death.

Worked on Edge for me

Very clever and fun game! Just a couple things that would dramatically improve the QOL would be make the hover tooltip collision a lot bigger. You have to mouse over the VERY center of a shop item to get the pop up right now and it's a little finnicky. Another thing is I think just get rid of the tombstones. You instinctively want to hover and click on the units since that's what you clicked to buy them but you have to hover and click on the tombstones once they're on the field. The tombstones just don't feel quite as intuitive and I don't think they really add anything. One last thing I'd recommend is making the cost of things apparent on the units/spells in the shop so you don't have to hover and glance up to your coins to see how much it costs. It's much easier to make decisions if you can see all the necessary info in one place.

It's my first cycle so I don't have that option unfortunately :( A save would be great!

Thanks for the quick response! I refreshed and got v0.3.8 but I my save still has me just sitting at the main screen with no options available.

I played in the browser on Edge on Windows 10. I had previously absolved the cat a couple times and was just hopping back into the game to see the new updates and decided to absolve the cat again and when it got to the end game screen which I couldn't exit out of, I just refreshed the browser page and when the game loaded back up it acted like I'd never played before with no save file available.

Choosing to absolve the cat deleted my save... Kinda sucks.

Physics are absolutely atrocious. Can't even jump properly, Pinky bounces off everything to an extreme degree. Need to work on the physics!

I'm on my first run and chose to defy Legion and lost but now there's no menu options to click. No way to continue :(

No problem! Great incremental game btw! I am invested enough that I'm a bit sad I didn't get the lore! Any chance I can see/know what it was without having to restart?

Just fyi, I have prestiged multiple times but never got any "lore" at the end of any of them. I would see a grainy screen flash with a "?" box but it would only last like 2 or 3 frames then disappear and return me to the Forest screen successfully having restarted. But no lore or anything appeared. Also, the Heart tab still shows as ??? every time I prestige.

As someone who takes polaroids often, I have to be nitpicky and point out that shaking polaroids does NOT DEVELOP THEM FASTER. Everyone does this and it fills me with righteous indignation!!! It actually slows down the development!!!! They are not like an ink printer that needs to dry. They need to DEVELOP. The best way to speed it up is placing it somewhere warm like your armpit. Not shaking it. AHHHHHH!!!!

Literally nothing like Balatro lol. Closer to Card of Darkness than Balatro.

Nice atmosphere and story, but hitboxes really need work. I died to the bear traps several times even though the feet weren't anywhere near them. If even a pixel of a hair on her head touches the trap she dies even though it's clear that she's several feet away from them. Might want a segmented hitbox so you can detect collision on her legs for things like bear traps and the tentacles of the dog. It's totally immersion breaking and cheap when you die to a tentacle or trap that's clearly not touching the girl yet she dies. The dog boss fight is actually almost impossible as a result.

Also good game design would say you need a better way to indicate enemy line-of-sight. It's very unclear the field of view of the patrolling enemies, and as a result you die to them way too much too. You also should give the player feedback when they have shot something. Having the enemy just disappear feels unfinished, and when shooting at the dog it's not clear what the gun's range is or if I'm hitting the dog at all.

This doesn't work on desktop at all.

Yeah, use your brain lol. That's the end of the game. Once you get to that point you just see how many waves you can do until you lose.

All upgrades max in 15 min? That's literally not possible with the speed of the game. Eventually they cost 1M, which alone takes like 30 min to get. And that's just for one upgrade, and it's still not maxxed. So you're seriously exaggerating.

Cute, but needs some serious balancing. By the time you have 6 slimeows you never need more because the pond takes WAY too long to restock, even with upgrades. And even if you do choose to upgrade the pond, the cost scaling is insane with very very little improvement. So it becomes way more cost effective to just get a bunch of Bigger Bowl upgrades and have like 6 slimeows and that's it.

The game also needs to be sped up, just in general. As in, accumulate money faster, and difficulty increases faster. Way too much waiting between upgrades. That is, unless this is meant to be an idle game, which it didn't seem to be since playing optimally has you reassigning slimeows between the pond and tower.

Look up Dicey Dungeons. It kinda already exists.

There already is one. It's called Dicey Dungeons. This is honestly a bit of a rip off of it.

Nice simple concept for a platformer, but the character gets stuck on edges too easily. If I jump into a platform but don't quite reach the top, the character just floats there stuck.

1) "Achievements" is misspelled literally everywhere you've written it lol.

2) Zero effort was put into the UI or making it look like a game in any way.

3) There's a good reason idle clicker games make auto clicking one of the first things you unlock. This "game" locks the auto click behind around a 5-10 minute playtime, then even when you unlock it, it has a 4.8 sec cooldown? Absolutely bonkers idea. What exactly is the "game" here?

4) If you do the math, the achievements are actually impossible to 100% without grinding for an actual month straight.

Edit: Actually, there's already 2 achievements I should've gotten but didn't get. So the "game" is actually impossible to 100%.
