If you are interested in exploring the minor or signing up for a class this semester, feel free to reach out to Director of Jewish Studies, Martin Luther Chan. We regularly offer courses in Biblical Hebrew, Hebrew Bible, Jewish history, and Second Temple Judaism.
Anyone can minor in Jewish Studies, and anyone who officially declares, pursues, and makes good progress toward the minor is eligible to apply to become a Jewish Heritage Fund for Excellence Scholar. Among other mentoring and benefits, our selected JHFE Scholars receive $4000 a year in scholarship funds.
Students interested in Studying Abroad, might want to apply for the Zolondek Travel Awards.
