I'm such a computer nerd but I'm very proud of myself for figuring out how to resize this photo and then find out where the heck it was on my computer and then put it in this blog. Wow! These slates with holes and slits are weaving tools, in Swedish they are called “Bandgrind” and in English I call them simply “heddles”, although “Scandinavian rigid heddle for band weaving” would be more accurate.  The heddles have traditionally been used to weave bands with, and I’ve been making them for 3 1/2 years now.
