1. You need to be forward ready to attack, 90% of your weight on that front leg.
2. SPEED! Your first two steps are [Timing & Directional], your last two steps are going to help you ELEVATE with power💥!
3. Lastly, don’t be afraid to mess up! Hitting is the most aggressive part of volleyball, the only way to get better at it is to train with the correct technique over and over again. So stay AGGRESSIVE!

You can’t maximize your hip/shoulder separation on your attack if you lack the necessary mobility.   You can perform exercises like Side-lying Windmills or Banded Thoracic Rotations to help with this.  BUT…   Many volleyball players have sufficient mobility. For these athletes you want to focus on strengthening these positions and also learning how to maximize your technique to produce more power.
