Baikonur[1] (Russice Байконур; Cazachice Байқоңыр; scilicet 'Vallis Dives') est portus spatialis (cosmodromus) Sovieticus. Ex anno 1991 Russia a Kazachstania eum conducit post dissolutionem Unionis Sovieticae (ad annum 2050 pactio conclusa est).

Anno 1954 aedificatio coepta est, et anno 1957 rocheta e Baikonure primum ascendit. Satellites artificiales primi necnon astronautae (et Vostok 1) hinc avolaverunt.

Asteroide 2700 Baikonur in eius honorem nominatur.
