Caebua[1] est Insularum Philippinarum urbs 922611 incolarum (secundum censum vel populi descriptionem[2] anni 2015) et caput provinciae eiusdem nominis. Caebua est prima urbs ab Hispanis, accurate ab exploratore Michaele López de Legazpi, in Insulis Philippinis condita (anno 1571), quamquam in insula minuta iuxta Caebuam, nomine Mactan, iam anno 1521 explorator Ferdinandus Magellanus necatus erat.
