Gorillamobile Mounts Your Phone Anywhere

We've been big fans of Gorillapod, the anywhere tripod for digital cameras, for years now. If you'd like the same mount-anywhere flexibility for your cellphone, check out the new Gorillamobile.

(Click any of the images for a closer look.)

Like its digital camera counterpart, Gorillamobile is a small, flexible tripod capable of forming itself to attach to just about anything. You can use it as a tripod for adding a little stability to your mobile pictures, as a mount in your car so you can keep a closer eye on your phone's built-in GPS, as a dock at your computer, or whatever your imagination can come up with. The price tag sits at a hefty $30 (available for pre-order now), which isn't what we'd call cheap for a little mount.

If you'd prefer not to spend that extra cash, we've detailed a couple of DIY Gorillapod alternatives that you may be able to adapt for the mobile version.
