Welcome to MABE
The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering offers three undergraduate and graduate degree programs: mechanical engineering (ME), aerospace engineering (AE), and biomedical engineering (BME). Each undergraduate program is accredited by the ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission.
Beginning in Fall 2025, the biomedical engineering program will become its own focused department. The decision was made to better accommodate the growing number of biomedical engineering students and to provide a focused curricula for the changing needs of the biomedical industry.
