Early Assurance Program
In partnership with multiple higher education institutions across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the University of Kentucky College of Medicine has developed an Early Assurance Program (EAP) for academically excellent students who demonstrate the qualities of a competent and caring physician. The applicants must have an interest in ultimately studying and practicing in Kentucky.
Students who attend one of the below partner institutions may apply to the Early Assurance Program at any one of the UK College of Medicine Regional Campuses (Bowling Green, Northern Kentucky, or the Rural Physician Leadership Program in Morehead). Regardless of the institution an EAP applicant currently attends, they may select any one of the regional campuses to apply to. Students who are interested in attending the Lexington campus are encouraged to consider applying through either the early or regular decision program type.
Students who are accepted into EAP at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine will be required to meet the program expectations during their junior year. Upon successful competition of the program and graduation from their institution, EAP students are granted assured admission to the UK College of Medicine.
