Here’s a tough truth: Although 80% of students plan on obtaining a bachelor’s degree after getting their associate degree, only 25% do. We believe that every community college graduate deserves the opportunity to take that next step. That’s why we make the transfer process as simple, accessible and affordable as possible.
How to Transfer to NLU
1) Connect with an Enrollment Specialist, who will discuss your degree options, your career interests, and help you prepare the materials you need to transfer to NLU.
2) Apply to NLU. It’s Free!
3) Request Official Transcripts from your community college and all higher education insitutions you’ve attended.
Transcripts must be submitted directly from the institution to admissions@nl.edu.
Paper transcripts must be sent in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution and mailed to:

4) Keep informed regarding your admission status. If you apply online you can check on your application status at Apply Today. If you apply by mail, contact your Enrollment Specialist for any updates or with any questions.
5) Connect with your NLU advisor on which courses will transfer to NLU. Your NLU enrollment specialist will connect you with your NLU academic advisor. Your NLU academic advisor will also help you build a schedule to help you and determine how long it will take to earn your bachelor's degree.
