Dashi is the Octonaut crew's sweet-natured IT officer and photographer. She is one of the only females, other than Tweak and Tominnow, on the Octonauts crew. She is the older sister of Koshi. Dashi is a Dachshund Dog who controls all of the computers, communication devices, and remote steering for the Octopod.
