In the quiet moments of self-reflection, I find myself marveling at the person I've become—the person who has learned to navigate life's twists and turns with grace and resilience, who has found strength in the face of adversity, and who has learned to love and honor themselves above all else.

Gone are the days of turmoil and chaos, of seeking validation and approval from others at the expense of my own peace of mind. Today, I stand tall and proud, secure in the knowledge that I am enough, just as I am, and that I am worthy of love and respect simply by virtue of being myself.

The Ravenwolf on Instagram: "I used to worry about what everyone thought about me and how others would see me…
Not anymore.
Somewhere along the way, mixed between worrying too much about how I looked and caring if people liked me..
I realized that I didn’t need anyone’s approval or permission to be happy and comfortable in my own skin.
No matter what they thought, said or didn’t like, it had no impact on who I was or how I felt.
So I decided to start doing more of the things that made me happy and leaving all the opinions, comments and judgements behind.
It took me a while to build a thicker skin and stronger will, but once I reached a certain point,
I started feeling something I hadn’t in a very long time.. maybe ever.
Free.
Free to dress the way I wanted.
Free to act how I liked.

For me, this all began at age 13 when I started mistaking the attention I got from losing weight for my own self-worth. The external validation I sought was like a sponge needing constant replenishment, leading to insatiable highs and lows. This need for approval always left me craving more. The change came at 18 when I accepted Christ, and found my true significance in Him, rather...
