This window display is an example of repetition as it consists of four of the same paint cans pouring over the same pair of shoes, with only the color of the paint changing. This use of repetition makes the shoes more emphatic and more important. It also leads the viewer's eye and creates a sense of motion.

I don’t ordinarily ask the creatives I interview which design trends are gay. In fact, I would have guessed questions like that are offensive.
