In Roman times the Tripolitania province had 3 cities, called Tripolis, Leptis Magna, Oea (aka Tripoli) and Sabratha. Sabratha is part of UNESCO World Heritage List. The best thing in Libya, even if you're are not familiar, like me, about archeologia, is that there very few tourists in the ruins, so the visit is really a nice time. © Eric Lafforgue www.ericlafforgue.com
