Another real-time VFX study (Unity)! At first I only wanted to try out different dissolve shaders, but this time I also messed around with dynamic lights and physics. I really enjoyed the way the light behaved creating those hard shadows, also the physics felt really satisfying and I could spend a long time blowing a whole bunch of boxes :D The rest is pretty much what I'm used to - billboards and meshes rendered by the native particle system (shuriken) and a few custom shaders.
