De’ang

De'ang er navnet på en folkegruppe som for det meste holder til i Burma, men også tildels i Folkerepublikken Kina og i Thailand. Det er omkring 557.000 av dem.

I Burma er de anerkjent som en minoritet innen folkegruppen Shan.

I Kina ble de lenge kalt Benglang, men i 1985 endret myndighetene navnet til De'ang, etter deres eget ønske. De er ett av de 55 offentlig anerkjente minoritetsfolkene i Kina. Ifølge folketellingen i 2000 var det 17.935 av dem i provinsen Yunnan.
