Biography
Dr. Ayokunle Omosebi is a Senior Research Engineer at the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research (UK CAER). He joined UK CAER as a Postdoctoral Scholar after completing his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2013. His graduate work focused on nanofabrication enhancements for polymer electrolyte fuel cells. He previously received an M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, obtained in 2007 and a B.Sc., degree also in Chemical Engineering from City College, City Univesity of New York obtained in 2004. His current research interests and activities at UK CAER include electrochemically mediated separations with a focus on the selective removal of contaminants, energy storage, power generation, materials design and synthesis, capacitive deionization, and chemical looping. His personal interests include traveling, exploring new devices and technology, racketball, basketball, and tennis.
