Google Summer of Code with NumFOCUS

Google Summer of Code (GSoC) sponsors students to work full-time for 3 months on open source projects during the summer (in the northern hemisphere), supervised by a senior contributor from the mentoring organization. Google Summer of Code students frequently go on to become active contributors and core maintainers of our projects.

NumFOCUS is excited to participate once again as an umbrella organization for Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2022 — our 7th time joining this remarkable initiative!

This year we have 22 NumFOCUS open source projects mentoring students!

For general information on how the process works and how to apply, visit the GSoC website.
