Choose Your Own (Training) Adventure!
As the University streamlines its supported software packages, instructors are encouraged to go on a training adventure! Will you take more advantage of Canvas for your classes? Or will you want to learn best practices for storing and sharing files in Microsoft 365? It’s your choice. You can even choose both learning paths!
Canvas, the university’s learning management system, helps you organize and present course content, enabling you to create and manage digital learning environments for your students in support of in-person, blended, or online courses. Canvas provides tools to share a syllabus, deliver course materials, link to online textbook and publisher content, create quizzes, grade completed work, facilitate discussions, and much more.
Microsoft 365 is more than just the Big Three of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Microsoft 365 applications provide our learning community with a comprehensive suite of tools designed to enhance productivity and streamline various academic tasks. These applications facilitate seamless collaboration, share files effortlessly, and communicate effectively across departments. For videos introducing you to the fully supported list of Microsoft apps, see our Quick Training Videos page.
