A melancholic memento about a swimming pool attendant who re-lives his days of youth again and again every day with the help of a daydream. His achievements at the Moscow Olympics echo in eternity. Jumping into the pool he rejuvenates 40 years and brings his top shape again. The style of the film is similar to the early Hitchcock films, as in the protagonist emotions rage, which we can mostly feel through the montage technique. Everything else happening in the swimming pool is slow and calm. This film etude is a micro portrait of a man, pulling the veil off the nostalgia lurking in the elderly and the vitality that is still dormant in them. Written by
