Luckily, they come upon, Rose, a beautiful but mysterious young woman with a tragic and romantic secret past, walking all alone on the old road. They stop to ask directions and, as it turns out, she is heading to town, to see a movie. Frank is taken in by her innocence and charm so they offer a lift to town. After a few moments of discussion, she gladly accepts the ride. The group arrives at the theater and Frank asks Rose if they might join her for the movie. Rose smiles and graciously accepts the offer. During the movie a few scary parts startle Rose and she grabs hold of Frank's arm. After a while, she relaxes enough that Frank puts his arm around her and she snuggles up to him. During the movie Frank falls strangely and hopelessly in love with Rose. As the trio leaves the theater Jeff and Frank offer her a ride home which she readily accepts this time. The next morning Frank realizes that he left his jacket with Rose so they drive to her home to retrieve it. They arrive at Rose's house and knock on the door. An older woman, Vera, answers the door. After a brief discussion about Rose, Jeff is shocked to learn the truth and the lengths that Frank will go to for the love of Rose. Written by Pamela McCarthy See less
