Notice how the emphasis is on mobility, light weight and compound, full body movements. This is because during the season, PGA Tour players are on the golf course all day everyday. We don’t want to wear them out too much high weight, high volume exercises that could make them sore, and inhibit their performance. It’s more about keeping the body tuned and decreasing risk of injury. However, for the avg golfer who isn’t playing high stakes golf every day, I would want them to work in some higher weight exercises into every workout.
