RIEMA Cybersecurity Program Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency's (RIEMA Cybersecurity Program is based upon the National Institute of Standards and Technology Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity.The program includes the creation of the Executive Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources Working Group, development of cybersecurity policies for the State’s information technology systems and networks, draft of the Rhode Island Cybersecurity Protection and Incident Action Plans, physical and cyber assessments of critical infrastructure, grant funding opportunities, cybersecurity tabletop exercises and awareness training. The program involves partnerships with federal, state and local governmental agencies, the Rhode Island National Guard, law enforcement, academia, the business community and other critical infrastructure stakeholders.
