Christina Mimm | Furniture Flips | DIY on Instagram: "This World War II era dresser from England needed a lot of love. I removed the failing finish with my carbide scraper, then sanded the rest with a 120 grit. I fixed the broken areas with epoxy putty and reshaped missing parts of the detail on the top drawer. I used a paint wash with the color “Restoration” from Wise Owl, and added a glaze on the top. I cleaned the hardware well, then used Rub n Buff in “Antique Gold.” I absolutely love the hardware on this piece! Let me know what you think 😍" Carbide Scraper, Broken Dresser, Paint Wash, Rub N Buff, Epoxy Putty, Furniture Flips, Wise Owl, Flipping Furniture, Top Drawer
