Grumpy Silverback Gorilla, Ward Dermaut

3D model of a chunky silverback gorilla. I based the design on a lot of photo reference and some sketches I made before hand. Was really fun to stylize the anatomy of a gorilla, since their normal anatomy almost looks stylized already. He is a chill dude, just don't touch his food! The model was made in Zbrush and retopo in Maya. The retopo is nothing special, just to make the process of posing a bit smoother. All rendered in Arnold, although I might switch to eevee in the future for better…
