GALLERY OPEN AND CLOSING HOURS AND DATES
The Saint John’s Bible Gallery is open to the general public. There is no admission fee and no appointment is necessary for self-guided tours. Guided tours are available only by reservation by contacting Tim Ternes at at tternes@csbsju.edu.You are invited to experience The Saint John's Bible through the images and information on this web site, at one of the touring exhibitions, or at its home, the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library on the campus of Saint John's University.
The Saint John's Bible Gallery is located on the lower level of Alcuin Library on the Saint John’s University Campus. The gallery features 28 original folios showcasing works from all seven volumes of the Bible. Rare books and manuscripts from the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library collections complement the exhibition of the folios. Tools, materials and sketches used in the creation of The Saint John's Bible give a glimpse into the processes used to create this monumental work of faith and art. The gallery is open from Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There are no weekend hours from mid-December through May 31. There is no admission charge, and no reservations are needed for a self-guided tour. Guided tours for groups of ten or more are available by making a reservation in advance by contacting Tim Ternes at 320-363-3351 or tternes@csbsju.edu.
