Organizations working on affordable housing activities for Santa Fe residents have two new opportunities for funding. The City of Santa Fe’s Office of Affordable Housing just opened two Request for Proposals (RFP) to fund projects ranging from bringing down the costs of new, affordable housing construction to helping residents become homeowners.
The RFPs are due February 14th by 3 pm. Financing is available via Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) funds to support organizations building, preserving, and rehabilitating affordable housing and providing direct financial assistance to community members. Applicants must submit complete proposals online to be considered.
The City of Santa Fe’s Office of Affordable Housing is offering funds to organizations working on a range of affordable housing activities for Santa Fe residents with low and moderate incomes. This year’s CDBG funding is estimated at approximately $600,000, and AHTF is estimated at $3 million. Eligible use of these funds must comply with the New Mexico Affordable Housing Act and HUD requirements per the fund guidelines.
