Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah (Jawi: السلطان عبدالله رعاية الدين المصطفى بالله شاه الحاج ابن المرحوم سلطان حاج احمد شاه المستعين بالله) (born 30 July 1959) is the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong (head of state) of Malaysia and the sixth Sultan of Pahang. He was made Sultan on 15 January 2019, replacing his father, Sultan Ahmad Shah on 11 January.[1]
On 24 January 2019, days after his accession to the throne of Pahang, he was elected as the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.[2] He was sworn in on 31 January. The Prime Minister at that time was Mahathir Mohamad.
He was also a member of the FIFA Council from 2015 to 2019.[3]
