Athens, Texas

Athens is a city in Henderson County, Texas, in the United States. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 12,857.[1] It is the county seat of Henderson County.[2] It was named after Athens, Alabama, by one of the early residents who came from there.[3]

Athens has 12,857 people living there.
