Deindustrialization

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Deindustrialization or deindustrialisation is a process that happens in countries when machines are being removed or reduced from how work is done. This can cause social and economic change. It is the opposite of industrialization.

During the deindustrialisation of a country, many people leave factory jobs to do other jobs that require little or no machines.
