Lynn Anderson (September 26, 1947 – July 30, 2015) was an American country musician. She sang many hit songs in the 1970s and 1980s. She began in 1966 at age nineteen. Her first major hit was "If I Kiss You (Will You Go Away)".[1] Other hit songs were "Promises, Promises", "Rose Garden" and "No Another Time".

Anderson was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She died on July 30, 2015 after suffering a heart attack at her Nashville, Tennessee home, aged 67.[2]
