Stroud, Oklahoma

Stroud is a city in Oklahoma in the United States. In the 2020 census it had a population of 2,719.[1] It is 11.5 square miles in land area and has a population density of 240 people per square mile. It is twinned with Stroud in the United Kingdom

Stroud was founded in 1892 by James William Stroud, a developer. Early in its history, Stroud lay in Oklahoma Territory, where alcoholic drinks could be sold legally.
