SMART Integrated Portal (SIP) is a new externally facing portal to HUD's SMART system, in which Partial Claim loans are serviced.
With an account, Borrowers, Servicers, and Third Parties can view loan information, request payoff amounts and begin the subordination process.

The FHA Case Number is a unique 10-digit number assigned to a Borrower's Loan File.
An FHA Case Number can often be found in the following formats on your recorded Lien, with or without the dashes:

703-555-5555555
203-555-5555555
When entering the FHA Case Number on SIP, please use the 10-digit format (e.g. 555-5555555). Do not use the 703 or 203.
If you do not know your FHA Case Number, please reach out to your mortgage servicer to obtain this information, along with your loan amount.

The FHA Case Number is a unique 10-digit number assigned to a Borrower's Loan File.

When entering the FHA Case Number on SIP, please use the 10-digit format (e.g. 555-5555555). Do not use the 703 or 203.
If you do not know your FHA Case Number, please reach out to the borrower's mortgage servicer to obtain this information, along with your loan amount.

If you are unable to find the FHA Case Number after typing in the full 10-digit number, please select the "FHA Case Number not listed" option to request access and request a payoff for that loan simultaneously.
Please note that as a third-party user, you will be asked to provide a copy of your third-party authorization for the FHA Case Number.
If you have already requested FHA Case access, a payoff request cannot be made until there is an approved TPA. The TPA previously provided is under review. You will be able to make a payoff request once it is approved.

What is my TPA?
As a third-party user, if you choose to request access to an FHA, you must provide a copy of your third-party authorization for each FHA Case Number you are requesting access to.
A third-party authorization is a document showing legal authorization, signed and dated by the Borrower, with a statement identifying the party to whom it is approved to release information.
What is my loan amount?
The original amount of the Partial Claim Note or Notes. If you do not know the claim amount, please contact the loss mitigation staff at your mortgage servicer for assistance.
What is my Servicer ID?
If you do not know your FHA Servicer ID, please speak with your management to obtain it.
What information do I need for FHA Case Access?
As a third-party user, you have the option to link your account with FHA Case Numbers during account registration. This step is optional and can also be done after your account has been created.
The following information is required to request access to an FHA Case:
A valid FHA Case Number
The original amount of the Partial Claim Note or Notes. If you do not know the claim amount, please contact the borrower's mortgage servicer.
A copy of your third-party authorization for this FHA Case Number
SMART Integrated Portal only accepts Partial Claim loans at this time.

How does Auto-Approval work?
Account requests will Auto-Approve only if the domain matches a designated domain rule and all other conditions are met.

The Review Third Party Request page presents the information utilized by a third party to access your current FHA Case particulars with HUD. Granting this access enables the third party to manage actions on your Loan for you. Kindly ensure to thoroughly review all the provided pre-filled information for accuracy prior to initiating any actions.
More Information about an Optional Borrower Account
Checking this box will create a Borrower account using the borrower's email and information provided in this form. You will receive a Welcome email from SIP system with a link to set up your password and security questions. Once your account is established, you will be able to access/review previous and future Third-Party FHA Access Requests directly from your main dashboard.
If you do not wish to create a Borrower account, simply deselect the box before clicking the "Approve Access" button.
Note: If you Deny or Request Revision on the FHA access request , no new account will be created.
