In Prison or Country Jail the food that is served to the inmates is more of less bad. Which I don't understand as a lot of prison/jails grow their own veg. Cooking on a big scale is always hard. Inmates prepared a lunch of BLT’s in the jail kitchen. The Tulare County jail has its own farm headed by Farm Manager Tom Guinn. Inmates raise crops in the garden and tend to cattle, free-range chickens and hogs. Inmates also tend alfalfa fields for livestock feed. The food goes to the jail kitchen, where it’s prepared and served to the inmates and is managed by Karrie Donabed. Saves the county a lot of money, teaches the inmates skills they can use for employment once they’re released.
