Rohann Irving is a qualitative gambling researcher at the Australian Gambling Research Centre, located within the Australian Institute of Family Studies. He is also currently completing his PhD in the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences at The University of Queensland.
Rohann's primary research areas are gambling, gender, and sport, with a particular focus on men and masculinities. His doctoral thesis, ‘Sports Betting as an Everyday Practice’, seeks an understanding of sports betting’s shift into men’s domestic and intimate lives.
