When you witness someone you love accomplish something for the first time, it is hands down, one of the most amazing things a person can feel. 🫶🏼 So proud of my brother Daniel for running his first 10K race today… not only that, but also placing first in his age group and 11th overall!! What a fun experience running my first 10K race outside of NYC. 5 THINGS I LEARNED RUNNING THE NYC MARATHON THIS YEAR ⬇️ 1. This was my 2nd time in a row running, and I knew exactly where on the course I struggled the most last year. This set me up for success because I made sure to train on bridges + hills for 4 months to get used to the elevation. 2. 9 times out of 10 during races, I’ll encounter side stitches.
