To start this review is overall not based on one experience. To be honest I only use Sainsbury's for convenience of time slots etc. The fresh foods, cooked meats etc have terrible dates on them, I just bought 3 packs of beef, 1 was going out of date and the other 2 had only 2 days on them. It wasn't even pointed out to me about the short dates. This is a regular occurrence. The same can be said across the entire chilled department except milk which always has good dates (although I get varying dates, out of 5 there are sometimes 3 different dates). The whole range of goods has nowhere near enough choice, everything is so limited, especially in the general grocery department. The prices can be shocking however nectar prices are good. But on the subject of nectar despite shopping at Sainsbury's for a while, I've never received a single point, even though it says I am eligible (nectar). The delivery side of things needs improving, this no bags situation is a joke, surely in this day and age they can come up with an alternative instead of back breaking bending over to pick up every item, the drivers rarely offer to help, I gave up on putting in the delivery notes that I am disabled and need help, they obviously never read them. Mostly the drivers are friendly enough except they are like robots with their " enjoy the rest of your day" spiel!! They rarely say anything individual. I find the women drivers more friendly and happy to chat and at least say something different!! Anyway I could go on all day but won't bore you any more all there is to say overall is I don't think Sainsbury's care about their customers at all, just making profit, sad sign of the times.

Ordering online was easy and the cake was ready for collection as expected. The cake itself was fantastic! Really light and fluffy but not too sweet cake, decorated beautifully. Our party of 15 thoroughly enjoyed it, including the birthday boy of 94 years. Can definitely recommend! 👍😊

Should have zero stars! Once again KFC in Slough (Farnham Rd) managed to mess up an order. I don't think I've ever had an order that was not missing items! Then we're told I didn't order missing items until I proved it on the app order. Zinger meal, the chicken looks like it had been run over by a lorry several times to get the chicken as flat and dry as possible! How is the manager still employed there! The place is a disorganised shambles, management should be replaced with someone that cares about service and quality!

They’re a SCAM & commit FRAUD. I’ve seen many people complain about their customer service & after I submitted a refund for ‘missing items’ from an order, they refused to believe me & denied it. The restaurant contacted them too to defend my claim as they didn’t want a bad review & it was an honest mistake, but even after escalating the claim, I was denied before given the opportunity to explain. They then told me not to reply or pursue. I’ll be contacting my bank tomorrow & taking further action. What they’re doing is FRAUD!
