Help Support the Equity Scholars Program

APT and our Inclusion Advocacy Committee are committed to creating programs that support our mission to encourage equity and cultural diversity within APT and to support the growth and development of diversity within the historic preservation field.

Impressed by the positive impact of grants in 2022 and 2023 from the Getty Foundation for Equity Scholarships to APT's annual conference, Berggren Architects, P. C. stepped forward with an idea to help replace that funding in partnership with APT. Patti the Preservationist is a call to action aimed to preserve our built environment. Inspired by Rosie the Riveter, the iconic figure contributed to the success of the allies. Patti is featured on a selection of merchandise available for purchase at APT’s 2024 conference and online. Proceeds go to support Equity Scholarships which include complementary APT membership, travel to, and attendance at our annual for eligible students and emerging professionals in support of their advancement in our field.
